Jim is an active investor/developer in a number of companies and developments. While active in Kentwood Ventures, he has also brokered numerous transactions for institutional clients. Jim is a part of Boulders Realty Advisors, and prior to that Jim served as the Managing Director at Landauer Realty Advisors, a national firm owned by AEGON Insurance. He formed BRA when Landauer was sold to Grubb and Ellis in 1999. Prior to his career with Landauer, he co-founded the Financial Services group of Frain, Camins, and Swartchild a leading independent brokerage group in Chicago that is now CBRE. He served as a partner during his time at both FC&S and Kennedy Midwest, a preeminent real estate auction firm. In total, Jim has been involved in over $4 billion in real estate transactions as a broker, consultant, or developer. Jim earned a BS in Landscape Architecture/Horticulture and an MS in Real Estate, both from the University of Wisconsin. Jim has been involved in the development of numerous industrial and office properties and the acquisition, planning, and entitlement of multiple sites in Arizona and the Midwest. His expertise covers all aspects of the process including feasibility, site acquisition, underwriting, entitlement processing, design, engineering, financing, leasing/marketing, and sales.

Kevin is a private equity investor active in real estate, oil and gas, agriculture technology, and service companies. Prior to becoming a private equity investor in 2004, he was a Managing Director of Eastdil Realty (now EastdilSecured), one of the country’s foremost real estate investment banking firms. Between 1987 and 2004 while at Eastdil, his transaction resume included $6 billion in debt and equity transactions throughout the United States. Prior to joining Eastdil, he was a Vice President of Heron Properties, a private, London-based firm where he was a project manager of properties located in New York, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, and Miami. Kevin was chairman of the capital campaign and the project manager for Angeles House; located in South Los Angeles, Angeles House is the largest homeless shelter for families that has been developed in the western United States during the past 30 years. Kevin holds BBA (Economics) and MS (Real Estate) degrees from the University of Wisconsin. Kevin has been a partner in numerous real estate developments and acquisitions while being active in non-profit organizations.

Tarryn began her property management career at Sares-Regis in 2007. In 2008 she joined Grubb & Ellis which was acquired by Newmark Knight Frank in 2012. While at Grubb & Ellis/Newmark Knight Frank, Tarryn has managed over 3 million square feet of industrial, office and retail real estate assets located throughout the greater Phoenix region on behalf of institutional clients such as Zurich Alternative Asset Management, Trigate Capital, and Dunbar Real Estate Holdings. Her responsibilities included budget preparation and reporting, financial statement preparation [including year-end audits], acquisition due diligence, property marketing, lease negotiation management and owner leasing strategy advisory, tenant improvements construction management, base building construction draw management, support and advice for owner tax return preparation, real estate tax appeals, property sale and financing support and management.
After a successful 12-year career in property management, Tarryn joined the Phoenix commercial real estate brokerage division of Cushman and Wakefield in 2019, where she worked with a team that represented over 3.5 million square feet of office/industrial leasing/sale transactions totaling over $350 million in the Phoenix market. With over 16 years of management and transactional experience through multiple economic cycles Tarryn can provide insights how operations and management strategy can add value to an asset.
